The first Tizen smartphone, called Samsung Z1, had a good run in India and Bangladesh, which forced the company to speed up with the development of its successor. New details reveal that Samsung is allegedly working on two new Tizen-based smartphones.

One of the rumoured devices should be the Samsung Z2, while the other is a global Tizen smartphone with improved specifications. The Z2 is rumoured to feature a quad-core processor paired with 1 GB of RAM and a 2,000 mAh battery that powers a TFT display, which has a resolution of 540 x 960 pixels. The handset is expected to arrive in the second half of the year with new Tizen 3.0 UI, but since this is a rumour, wait for a new details.
