Current Windows Phone smartphone lineup doesn't have a true flagship model, but Microsoft hopes to change that with the upcoming Windows 10 mobile operating system and is allegedly working closely with HTC to bring a new flagship smartphone to the market.

It's still too early to comment on device's specifications, but we can assume it will have a high-end innards and most probably similar overall design as the Android flagship model. Chia-Lin Chang, President of Global Sales and Chief Financial Officer at HTC, said the company will be able to share more information it by the end of second quarter or the beginning of third quarter this year.
