When we first had a chance to see MediaTek's leaked roadmap, here was an interesting mid-range SoC, the MT6735. Since then, we didn't had a chace to see the chipset in action, until now. The MediaTek SoC went through the Geekbench and GFXBench test suits.

The first benchmark results reveal a higher performance level than the Qualcomm Snapdragon 410. In terms of specs, the chipset includes a quad-core processor with a maximum clock speed of 1.2 GHz, Adreno 306 GPU for graphics and support for bands such as FDD / TDD / TD-SCDMA / WCDMA / CDMA2000 and GSM.
