As Lenovo is preparing a first flash sale for an improved version of A6000, another smartphone has been launched in Europe. The mid-range Lenovo A5000 smartphone is now launched in Russia and is available for purchase for RUB 12,000, which is around $227.
In terms of specifications, it features a 5-inch 720p IPS display, powered by a MediaTek MT6582 SoC with a quad-core 1.3 GHz CPU, 1 GB of RAM, 8 GB of expandable storage and a 4,000 mAh battery. There is an 8 MP auto-focus snapper with LED flash, and a 2 MP front-facing camera. Lenovo didn't say anything about the Lollipop update, since the phone currently runs Android 4.4 KitKat. |
