Samsung's flagship smartphone is not doing well in its home country. Sales of the S6 are disappointing in South Korea, according to a report from Yonhap News. That report says just 200,000 S6 and S6 Edge units have been sold since they launched. Estimates had said global sales of the devices could top 50 million by the end of this year. Korean sales are not all that matter but Korea is an important market for Samsung given its relationship with the country.

It is not yet known how well those phones are doing in other markets like the US, Europe, and China. All of those markets are larger and sales are almost certainly going to be higher than they are in South Korea so far.

Samsung hasn't done as well in Korea recently now that companies like Apple are gaining market share in that market.
