Sony recently announced its new flagship Smartphone. The Xperia Z4 was announced exclusively in Japan. Upon first seeing the phone, most of us were instantly disappointed by the lack of innovation on Sony's part. Later, we learned that Sony is working on a flagship for the "rest of the world," a global variant of the Xperia Z4 flagship.

Schematics of the unannounced Sony Xperia P2 have been leaked. This device is being called the Xperia Z4 flagship for the rest of the world. If it turns out to be true, we might have a new Sony flagship with a massive 4000+ mAh battery. As a result, the device's body would be 10.9mm thick. Check out the Xperia P2 leaked specs.

Sony Xperia P2 specs:

5.2-inch Full HD (1920x1080) Triluminos Display

1.9GHz octa-core Snapdragon 810 chipset

3GB RAM

32GB internal storage

12.1MP Sony Exmor RS camera

5.1MP front camera with 1080p video

4240mAh battery

8.9-10.9mm thickness

The Xperia P2 won't carry the same 20.7MP Sony G Lens sensor as the Xperia Z4, Xperia Z3, Xperia Z2, and the Xperia Z1. According to the leaked schematics, the Xperia P2 will come with a new 12.1MP Sony Exmor RS camera sensor, with a Sony 25mm F2 G OSS lens. The sensor allegedly supports ISO 64 to 25600, and 4K video recording.

Until Sony comes out with an official announcement (which is expected some time in May), we request you to take all this with two grains of salt.
