Sales of the ZTE Zmax are resuming at T-Mobile and the carrier has also released a statement with instructions regarding the phone's battery. The carrier had to stop sales because some customers began trying to remove the phone's non-removable battery. T-Mobile sent a memo to staff that tells them to remind customers that the battery cannot be removed.

ZTE led an investigation into this issue and found only a small set of customers had tried to remove the battery. It was decided the phone was safe to sell and T-Mobile is taking orders again.

T-Mobile had reported the issue to ZTE.
