Smartwatch market has some really good watches, but still the devices are very immature. Battery life is not very good, some are lacking SIM and 4G LTE support, and one of those is the ZenWatch, which according to ASUS will have to battle with other smartwatches in 2015.

ASUS has confirmed that it has no plans on releasing the ZenWatch's successor this year, but that is working on a two new models for 2016. One model will be for men and one for women, but no details have been released. This could also be a good thing, as ASUS will have more time to develop and maybe use a new SoC that has improved energy efficient. It's still too early to talk about specs, so stay tuned for new details.
