MediaTek has announced that its MT6735 quad-core 4G 64-bit full-mode chip solution has been adopted by China-based ZTE, Lenovo and TCL for their upcoming smartphones.
MediaTek indicated that volume production for the MT6735 SoC has kicked off. The solution will be incorporated into several new smartphones set to roll out in May.
The MediaTek MT6735 is based on ARM's Cortex-A53 64-bit processor and Mali-T720 GPU, and features integrated 4G LTE World Mode and CDMA 2000 3G. The solution supports 1080p, 30fps video playback on the emerging video codec standard H.265 and legacy H.264 and 1080p, 30fps H.264 video recording. |
