Xiaomi announced the high-end Mi Note Pro smartphone back in January, but the launch was postponed due to problems with Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 chipset. The problem with the chipset was overheating, but according to the company the issue is now fixed.
To solve the issue, Xiaomi used five heat conductivity patents, out of which four were single graphite cooling fins and one was double-layered. We have no information if there is any degradation in performance.
The Mi Note Pro is now available for 2,999 Chinese Yuan (S$ 480) only in white color and will go on sale in China from Tuesday, on May 12. |
