The Galaxy J1 is one of the cheapest Android smartphones from Samsung ever released and was expected to be only released in emerging markets. Following the launch in Europe back in March, the Galaxy J1 is now heading to the US where it will be launched by Verizon.

The press render shows Verizon version of Galaxy J1, but we have no details when it will be launched and how much would it cost. The phone was priced at around €120-130, but we'll report as soon as we find out more on pricing.
