Nanya Technology saw its April revenues decline 4% sequentially while fellow DRAM company Inotera Memories' sales increased 1.3% on month.

Nanya has reported consolidated revenues of NT$3.91 billion (US$127.7 million) for April 2015, up 6.1% on year, however. Revenues totaled NT$15.94 billion for the first four months of 2015, rising 3.7% from a year earlier.

Nanya indicated that PC sales remain sluggish while prices for mobile DRAM are under downward pressure. The company also observed a longer period of time its downstream clients have to go through to adjust their inventory levels.

Inotera estimated April revenues will dip slightly on month to about NT$5.95 billion.

Both Nanya and Inotera expect DRAM prices to bottom out soon as they anticipate demand will gradually pick up in the peak season.
