BlackBerry Leap was announced in early March and since then it has been available in other regions. Today, the company has officially unveiled the smartphone in India, which will go on sale sometime next week. The pricing will be revealed on at the same time.
The price tag in the US is $275, so it shouldn't be much more expensive. The BlackBerry Leap is a budget smartphone equipped with a 5-inch 720pp display that is powered by Snapdragon S4 Plus chipset that has a dual-core processor clocked at 1.5 GHz and Adreno 225 GPU. It is paired with 2 GB of RAM, 16 GB of expandable storage and a 2,800 mAh battery. On the rear, the phone has an 8-megapixel camera, while a 2-megapixel camera is located at the front. |
