There will be a luxury rose gold finish option with the iPhone 6s, says KGI Securities analyst Ming-Chi Kuo. It is widely believed the next iPhone will be introduced later in 2015 and it will be called the 6s since that'd keep with the current naming setup. Kuo talked about the rose gold option during a research note.
Kuo also said the phone may have some new materials, a better camera, Force Touch, and another microphone to improve call quality. The iPhone 6s Plus, or at least some versions of it, may use sapphire which will add further scratch resistance.
Apple will finally switch to a 12-megapixel camera in the 6s. It has kept using an 8-megapixel camera even as the market moves forward with much higher-resolution sensors.
Force Touch would be a big addition since it adds new ways to interact with the phone. |
