Microsoft has launched three smartphones, the Lumia 640 LTE, Lumia 640 XL LTE Dual SIM and Lumia 430 Dual SIM, in the Taiwan market, targeting the entry-level to mid-range segment.

The Lumia 640 LTE sports a Qualcomm quad-core Snapdragon 400 CPU, 5-inch HD display, 8-megapixel camera and a 2500mAh battery, priced at NT$6,990 (US$229) unlocked.

The Lumia 640 XL LTE Dual SIM also comes with a Snapdragon 400 CPU but with a 5.7-inch HD display, 13-megapixel main camera and a 3000mAh battery, priced at NT$8,990.

The Lumia 640 devices run on Windows Phone 8.1 but can upgrade to Windows 10 when Microsoft officially launches the new operating system in the third quarter of 2015, according to Microsoft Taiwan. The two models also support Microsoft Office and OneDrive cloud storage.

The Lumia 430 Dual SIM comes with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 200 CPU, 4-inch display and a 2-megapixel camera, priced at NT$3,990.
