There were a few details pointing out to ZTE's intentions of offering Nubia smartphones in India, but today it has been confirmed. The ZTE has started sending out invites to Indian media outlets for a dedicated event, on which it will officially announce Nubia lineup.

The event is scheduled for May 19, but it hasn't specified which smartphones will be announced. The company could announce its latest three announce smartphones, which consists of the Nubia Z9, Z9 Mini and the Z9 Max. The smartphones will be available exclusively through Amazon India.
