Lenovo's camera-centric smartphone, which was announced back in March at MWC 2015 trade show, is finally ready. Although Lenovo promised to launch it in June, the company has managed to get things done earlier and will launch it this month, on May 22 in China.

The smartphone will be available for only CNY 1,799, which is around $290. Lenovo plans to launch it in other regions too, but with a slightly higher price tag of $350, but still that looks like a very attractive price for what the handset has to offer.

The Vibe Shot features a 5-inch 1080p display, an octa-core Snapdragon 615 processor, 3 GB of RAM, 32 GB of internal memory and a 3000 mAh battery. Since it's a camera-centric smartphone, it sports a 16 MP rear-facing camera with OIS and tri-color LED flash and an 8 MP front-facing shooter. The Android Lollipop runs out of the box, but with Lenovo's own user interface.
