Larger smartphones have various advantages over smaller, but that doesn't mean they are for everybody. While we have a very nice lineup of smaller smartphones, none of those smartphones have high-end performances and HTC thinks they are not very popular.

The company has just announced that they have no plans on making HTC One M9 Mini version and that the "industry is moving towards new phones over 5 inches in size" and their "product roadmap is close to that of the industry." This clearly confirms plans for producing only 5-inch and larger smartphones. Another proof for that is that HTC minis didn't do well, but this doesn't necessary mean a bad thing. We'll see what HTC can offer to customers.
