Samsung could release the Galaxy Note 5 earlier than previous generations. A new report out of Korea claims the phone will be available in late July. Samsung normally does not announce a new Galaxy Note until September, yet the company is reportedly already showing a finalized version of the Note 5 to carrier partners.
The report comes from WhoWiredKorea. A full launch is expected in the summer and Samsung could be speeding up the release of the phone because of the upcoming iPhone 6s. Samsung, if this report is accurate, will get its latest phablet onto the market before Apple releases its next phone.
Samsung Pay, a new mobile payment service, is also expected to launch this summer for the Note 5, Galaxy S6, and Galaxy S6 Edge. |
