LG Electronics plans to launch two flagship smartphones, the G4 Stylus and G4c, for the mid-range market in the next couple of weeks to boost its overseas shipments, according to a Korea-based The Korea Herald report.
The G4 Stylus will sport a 5.7-inch display and be available in 4G LTE and 3G versions. The 4G version will come with a 13-megapixel main camera, while the 3G version will have an 8-megapixel camera. LG will start marketing the G4 Stylus in North America, Europe and Latin America at the end of May and will name the G4 Stylus as the G Stylo for sale in the US.
Powered by four entry-level to mid-range G3-series products, LG shipped a record high of 59.1 million smartphones in 2014, increasing 24% from a year earlier. |
