ZTE has announced a new budget smartphone in China priced at the equivalent of $95. This is the second budget smartphone launched in China, after the company unveiled the Xiao Xian 2, which even features a fingerprint scanner and is priced at the equivalent of $140.
The ZTE Q519T doesn't feature a fingerprint scanner, but instead has a huge 4,000 mAh battery with three battery saving modes and OTG reverse charging technology. It sports a 5-inch 720p display, a MediaTek MT6735 SoC with a quad-core 1.0 GHz CPU and Mali T720MP1 GPU, 1 GB of RAM and 8 GB of expandable storage. A 5 MP camera with an aperture of f/2.0 and a 2 MP front-facing cameras are onboard, while other specs include 4G LTE, Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi, and USB 2.0 connectivity. Pretty impressive smartphone for a sub $100 price tag. |
