The 20,000 square-foot plant will boost OCZ's total capacity for SSD to 140,000 units a month from 50,000 at present, according to the company, adding that the new capacity is able to support its growing OEM client base.
OCZ revealed that the company's SSD shipments grew to over 54,000 units in August, up from an average of 15,000 units per month during the fiscal first quarter ending May 31, 2010.
