Demand for the Apple Watch is beginning to decrease but sales have already reached 2.5 million, according to Slice Intelligence. Half of the watch orders were placed on the first day. Orders have decreased to 30,000 per day since the release date. If that level of demand keeps up for an extended period of time, Apple can expect 11 million sales each year.

The number of orders each day has remained steady since release but there was a noticeable increase around the time the first shipments went out. Slice is pulling data from 14,000 customers in the US and that means official numbers will be different.
Once the Apple Watch is available in stores--Apple has exclusively sold it online--sales should increase. KGI is predicting there will be 15 million total units sold in the first year but sales estimates have gone up to 36 million. |
