Microsoft announced today that it has entered into strategic agreements with as many as 20 Android tablet OEMs, all of whom will preinstall Microsoft apps on their devices. Microsoft is pushing their productivity apps on iOS and Android, and this is a big win for them.

Previously, Microsoft had only two major players on board - Samsung, and Dell. Joining them are LG, Sony, and 18 other lesser known OEMs. Android tablets from these companies will come preinstalled with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneDrive, OneNote, and Skype apps.

The first tablet to reach the market that comes under the agreement with Microsoft is the Sony Xperia Z4 Tablet, which is expected to go on sale within the next 3 months.
