Samsung has revealed a way to turn Android phones into Windows laptops in a patent. The company is trying to patent a docking station that would turn an Android phone or tablet into a device that runs Windows. The station includes a display and keyboard that effectively create a laptop.

A phone needs to inherently run Android and Windows for this system to work but that sort of setup isn't unheard of. Once a phone or tablet is plugged into the station, the laptop would activate and switch to Windows.

The patent mentions a trackpad could be added to the setup.
