Samsung has revealed the future of its chipset manufacturing process. The Korean company is going ahead with 10nm FinFET manufacturing process, which is expected to be ready by the end of 2016.
Certainly, an Exynos processor produced using Samsung's 10nm FinFET process must be in the grand plan. Said Exynos processor is most likely to find a home inside Samsung's flagship Smartphone for 2017, the Galaxy S8.
Samsung has huge expectations from their 10nm FinFET manufacturing process. Their new node is said to bring "significant power, area, and performance advantages."
Earlier this year, Samsung introduced their very own 14nm mobile chipset, an industry first, which powers the Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge handsets. |
