HP is known by its desktop and notebook lineup, but lately they've been focusing on smartphones and tablets too. Two new tablets from HP are apparently on their way to India according to a local retailer, and should be available through HP's Indian website.
The first of those devices is the HP Slate 7 Voicetab Ultra, and as the name suggest it is a 7-inch tablet that comes with a 1,200 x 1,900 pixels resolution. It is powered by a HiSilicon quad-core processor clocked at 1.6 GHz and Mali-450 GPU, which could be the Kirin 910. 2 GB of RAM and 16GB of expandable storage are on board as well as a 13 MP/5 MP camera combo and a 5,000 mAh battery.
HP Slate 8 Plus is the other tablet that has slightly less powerful specs. The 8-inch display has only 800 x 1,200 pixels resolution, only 1 GB of RAM, a 5 MP/1 MP camera combo and a 4,800 mAh battery. However, it has the same chipset and both run Android 4.2 OS. |
