A Vodafone employee sent an email to a news publication called Mobile News stating that the Apple iPhone 6s release date is September 25th.

According to the source, Apple will officially announce the iPhone 6s on September 8th, and pre-orders will go live on September 18th. Finally, consumers would be able to purchase the iPhone 6s starting September 25th.

We figure that if Apple introduces an iPhone 6s Plus alongside the iPhone 6s (highly likely), the phablet would go on sale around or on the same day.

iPhone 6s rumors talk about a new 12MP rear camera sensor from Sony, which has a white sub-pixel that boosts low-light photography. Also, the device is supposedly going to be constructed using aircraft grade Series 7000 Aluminum. And finally, the iPhone 6s is rumored to come with a ForceTouch equipped display.
