Two new smartphones have been announced by Oppo today, and are expected to start selling in the upcoming weeks. The mid-range smartphones, the Neo 5 and Neo 5s, are very similar and the only difference is in the chipset, one of which supports the 4G LTE connectivity.
The Neo 5s model uses Snapdragon 410 that has a 1.2 GHz quad-core Cortex-A53 processor and Adreno 306 GPU, and supports LTE , while the standard Neo 5 model comes with an MT6582 SoC, which packs a 1.3 GHz quad-core Cortex-A7 processor and a dual-core Mali-400MP2 GPU.
Other specs are the same, including 1 GB of RAM, 8 GB of storage, a 4.5-inch IPS display, an 8 MP primary unit and a 2 MP selfie snapper. The pricing details are unknown at the moment. |
