Gionee has officially launched the Elife E8, and Marathon M5 Andriod Smartphones at their global product launch event in Beijing. The Elife E8 is set to impress with a killer set of specifications. Meanwhile, the Marathon M5 is for those people who want a Smartphone with a killer battery life.

The Gionee Elife E8 is powered by the MediaTek Helio X10 SoC. It's paired with 3GB of RAM, and 64GB of internal storage. Its most impressive feature is undoubtedly the 24MP rear camera. This is the highest resolution camera sensor that we are seeing on a Smartphone since the introduction of the 41MP Pureview camera on the Nokia PureView 808. The sensor, combined with software tricks, can capture 120MP resolution images. It also offers lossless zoom.
