Sony Xperia Z4, the company's new flagship smartphone, is now available for purchase in Japan. The phone, which was announced back in April, is available from NTT DoCoMo for 3,312 yens, which is around $750. The phone will be launched in the US and Europe as Xperia Z3+.

The Xperia Z3+ is expected to go on sale later this month. The carrier has also announced a new software update for the phone, with build number 28.0.B.0.457. The update fixes the known issue related to speaker volume. Other Japanese carriers will launch it in the following days.
