Panasonic's first smartphone/camera hybrid was previously selling in the Europe and is now finally available for pre-order in the United States. The unlocked version of Lumix CM1 can be yours for $1,000, which when we compare to other smartphones could be too much.

The biggest advantage over other devices is a 20-megapixel camera that comes with a 1-inch sensor. The camera is also capable of 4K video recording. Other specs include a Snapdragon 801 chipset with a quad-core 2.3 GHz Krait 400 CPU and Adreno 330 GPU, 2 GB of RAM, 16 GB of expandable memory, and a 2600 mAh battery.
