Although many smartphones have overheating issues with Snapdragon 810 SoC, manufacturers continue using the SoC since it has the best performance. Oppo is also one of them, since its upcoming Find 9 flagship smartphone includes Snapdragon 810 chipset.

The phone is already in carrier testing and was spotted in promotional materials of Guangzhou Mobile's 4G LTE Cat.9 network. The Chinese carrier has listed all devices with 4G LTE Cat.9, which is supported by Snapdragon 810 processor. The Find 9 is also rumoured to feature 4 GB of RAM, high-end rear camera and Quad HD resolution.
