The long rumoured Samsung Galaxy A8 has finally reached the FCC, a few weeks after it was certified by the Chinese counterpart TENAA. The FCC listing doesn't reveal many details about the smartphone, but since we know almost everything about it, it doesn't matter.

The Galaxy A8 will keep a metallic rim that adds a premium feel and look. It features a 5.7-inch 1080p AMOLED display that is powered by Snapdragon 615, 2 GB of RAM, 16 GB of storage and a 3,050 mAh battery. A 16 MP rear and a 5 MP front camera are included. The phone measures 158 × 76.77 × 5.94 mm and weighs 142g. The official release isn't too far away so stay tuned.
