A new mid-range smartphone from LG has been launched in the company's home country of South Korea. Dubbed the LG Band Play, the mid-range smartphone will go on sale later this week in black and white colour variants for KRW 394,800, which is the equivalent of around $355.

The Band Play has an average specs, including a 5-inch 720p display, a Snapdragon 410 Processor, 2 GB of RAM, a 13 MP rear and a 5 MP front camera. The company included some of the gestures from LG's main G line, including gesture shot and gesture view for the camera.
