Microsoft has introduced a new Surface Pro 3 variant that is equipped with the high-end Intel Core i7 4650U processor. That's not new, is it? Well, this new Surface Pro 3 model is the most affordable Core i7 option yet, priced at just $1299. It comes with 128GB SSD storage and 8GB of RAM.

There's another Surface Pro 3 model for $1299 that's powered by an Intel Core i5 4300U processor. It also has 8GB of RAM, but you get 256GB of SSD storage. However, going with a Core i5 processor means that you get the Intel HD 4400 GPU (with 20 execution units). The Core i7 processor is paired with the Intel HD 5000 GPU (which has 40 execution units).

At the end of the day, you'll have to choose between 256GB of storage and the Intel HD 5000 GPU. Microsoft also offers a $799 Surface Pro 3, which is powered by an Intel Core i3 processor.
