ASUS wants to improve its smartphone portfolio, but to do that it needs cover all segments and that is exactly what is doing. After releasing a high-end ZenFone 2, and ZenFone Selfie, the company is now working on a budget-friendly smartphone, called ZenFone Go.

The phone will be powered by a MediaTek chipset with a quad-core processor, 2 GB of RAM and 8 GB of storage. It will have a 5-inch HD display an 8-megapixelr rear-facing camera and a 2-megapixle front shooter. Don't expect 4G LTE support as it will reportedly only offer 3G connectivity. ASUS has yet to announce the phone, which should happen by the end of this month.
