Meizu's last-gen smartphone was the king of AnTuTu for quite some time. The Meizu MX4 edged out the Nexus 6 by a small margin, but looks like its successor, the MX5, will continue with domination. The smartphone has just gone through the benchmark, showing impressive performance.

It achieved an impressive 53,330 score on AnTuTu, and looks to be on a great way of repeating the same success of its predecessor, but it is still too early to tell as it was officially announced yesterday.

Specs-wise, it features a 5.5-inch 1080p display that is powered by the 64-bit MediaTek Helio X10 SoC, which contains an octa-core CPU clocked at 2.2 GHz and the PowerVR G6200 GPU, 3 GB of RAM and 64 GB of native storage. Another positive thing is it has a 3,150 mAh battery, so it should have good battery life.
