Late October contract quotes for 3-bit per cell NAND flash chips dropped by a larger percentage rate compared to moderate declines in those for 2-bit per cell parts, according to latest.
Average prices for 32Gb 2-bit per cell NAND edged down 1.15% to US$5.17 in the second half of October, while those for same-density 3-bit per cell ones fell by a larger 9.05% to US$4.02, the data showed.
Meanwhile, 64Gb 2-bit per cell chips were quoted at US$9.92 on average in the latter part of October, down 1.59% sequentially. Prices for same-density 3-bit per cell ones slid 3.4% to US$9.10 during the same period.
