Asustek Computer has announced consolidated revenues of NT$41.68 billion (US$1.34 billion) for June, up 23.75% on month and 22.91% on year, but has reduced its notebook shipment forecast for 2015 to 20 million units, down from 22.8 million units and lower than 2014's 20.3 million units.

The company's consolidated revenues for the second quarter were NT$108.4 billion, down 3.12% sequentially, but up 3.05% on year.

Despite a drop in its notebook shipment forecast, Asustek still expects its smartphone shipments to reach 17-25 million units in 2015.

As for July, Asustek is expected to see its July revenues perform worse than in June despite that the third quarter is the traditional peak season for the notebook market.
