Since it can't predict how well received, or maybe not, the new 12.9-inch iPad Pro is going to be, Apple plans to play it safe with the amount of produced units. According to unnamed supply chain sources, Apple will produce the new iPad Pro in limited quantities.

The order is much lower than what most analysts have predicted, so if you are buying one, better be prepared to order it fast. The mass production will start in late September and the launch should happen somewhere in mid or by the end of November.
