As it was expected, ZTE has announced a new high-end smartphone called Axon. The phone was designed in the US and is at the moment only intended for the US market. The launch date is unknown, but the price tag is 449.98 and comes in gold, chromium silver and blue colors.
In terms of specifications, it sports a 5.5-inch Quad HD display, powered by a Snapdragon 810 SoC with an octa-core CPU clocked at 2.0 GHz, 4 GB of RAM, 32 GB of non-expandable storage and a 3,000 mAh battery. At first look, it seems like a very good smartphone for only $449 alongside a metal body, but that is not all.
It features a dual rear camera, 13 MP + 2 MP, with dual-LED flash and 4K video recording support, while the front is occupied by an 8 MP unit. The rest of the specs include Android 5.1 Lollipop, Hi-Fi audio playback of 32-bit 192KHz audio files, and 4G LTE support. |
