Oppo has announced a new, shiny Android handset called the Mirror 5. The smartphone features a blue/white back that mimics a diamond and is reflective. Along with the phone's interesting backside, the Mirror 5 includes a 5-inch display, dual-SIM, a 1.2 GHz Snapdragon processor, and ColorOS 2.1. Everything is held together by a "bi-metallic frame and cross beams" that Oppo says can provide extra strength.

The Mirror 5 is also targeted at photographers since it has a burst mode, timelapse, and a mode just for making GIFs.

Oppo has not announced the device's price or release date, but we do know it will become available in 15 markets in Southeast Asia, South Asia, Mexico, and the Middle East-North Africa region. |
