HTC has unveiled four new Desire smartphones for the US market. The handsets will arrive on a variety of carriers and they are targeted at the US' budget market. Each model runs a quad-core Snapdragon 210 processor and they also include microSD/SDXC and 8-megapixel rear cameras.
The models are as follows: the Desire 520, 526, 626, and 626S. The 520 is only on Cricket and it has a 4.5-inch 854x480 display and a soft finish. Verizon's Desire 526 has a 4.7-inch qHD display, 1.5 GB of RAM, and curved bezels.
A 5-inch HD display is used on both the Desire 626 and 626S. The 626S is only available for prepaid customers and has 8 GB of storage and a 2 MP front camera. The 626, which will be on AT&T and T-Mobile, has 16 GB of storage and a 5 MP front camera.
