According to a report out of South Korea, LG G4 sales in LG's home country are way below the company's expectations. If the report is to be believed, LG managed to sell only 240,000 units of the G4 in South Korea by the end of June, hardly an impressive number.

If the LG G4 sales continue to perform poorly, the company simply cannot hope to achieve its target of selling 12 million G4 units worldwide before the end of 2015. Of course, sales performance in South Korea doesn't indicate what sales figures might look like on a global scale, but it is nonetheless discouraging.

What makes this worse is that LG's biggest rival in South Korea, Samsung, managed to sell 1.3 million Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge units during the same time period.
