Samsung today announced the Galaxy Tab S2, the successor to the Galaxy Tab S tablets launched last year. Specifications of the new Galaxy Tab S2 series are a step up from last year, the form factor has changed, and there's a new chipset driving these devices.

Both the new Galaxy Tab S2 models pack high-resolution 2048x1536 Super AMOLED displays, which are coupled with 3GB of RAM and 32GB/64GB of expandable storage. There's also an 8MP rear camera and a 2.1MP front camera in both tablets.

The Exynos 5433 Octa SoC comprises of 4x Cortex A57 cores clocked at 1.9GHz, coupled with 4x Cortex A53 cores clocked at 1.3GHz. Graphics is handled by the ARM Mali-T760MP6 GPU clocked at 700MHz. Check out the specs of the Galaxy Tab S2 down below.
