Acer's latest fitness band has gone on sale in the US. Called Acer Liquid Leap+, the gadget is available for purchase from the company's online store. Three interchangeable color bands are available - Charcoal Black, Fuchsia Pink and Lime Green, and all are priced at $79.99.

Due to the use of Activeband, which is based on Bluetooth 4.0, the estimated battery life is from 5 to 7 days of use and up to 10 days on standby. It is also IPX7 waterproof, which can be submerged up to 1 meter of water for up to 30 minutes. It features a 1-inch OLED touchscreen.
