During today's event, Motorola has officially announced affordable Moto G (2015). The third-generation smartphone pretty much comes with the rumoured specs. There are two versions, one with 2 GB of RAM and 16 GB of storage, and one with 2 GB of RAM and 16 GB of storage.

The handset uses plastic case with a metallic effect and has IPx7 certification, meaning it can survive after being submerged in up to 1m of water for up to 30 minutes. It is available starting today from various retailers, and the expected price tag is around $190 for 1 GB/8 GB version and $200 for the stronger model.

Both versions have the same specs, including a 5-inch 720p with Gorilla Glass 3, Snapdragon 410 with a 1.4 GHz quad-core processor and Adreno 306 GPU, a 13 MP rear unit paired with a dual-LED dual-tone flash, and a 5 MP selfie shooter. There is a bigger battery, a 2,470 mAh compared to the 2,070 mAh of the predecessor.
