Xiaomi might launch the Redmi Note 2 in mid-August, says a report based on a post made by the marketing manager of Xiaomi on the Chinese social networking site Weibo. "Do not wait so long to see the side, right? 816 See Beijing" where Mr. Tony is referring to 16th August. To that, IHS Technology Director Wang Yang made a comment saying "Qiazhiyisuan, debut of the Redmi Note 2."
The Redmi Note 2 was recently certified by China's TENAA. From the certification agency, we learnt that the Redmi Note successor packs a 5.5-inch Full HD (1920x1080) display, a 2GHz octa-core processor, 2GB RAM, 13MP/5MP cameras, a 3020 mAh battery, and Android 5.0 Lollipop.
