Microsoft is gearing up to launch new flagship smartphones that should be named Lumia 940 and Lumia 940 XL after all, and not the Lumia 950. They should be officially announced by the end of the year, and Lumia 840 should arrive at around the same time.

The most noticeable improvement on the new flagship smartphones are the on-screen buttons, and could be included in the Lumia 840 as well. Nothing is confirmed, but there is a high chance this could be true.
